Hey friends!
Wow, I can’t believe we are already in the middle of July! This past weekend, we celebrated Kent’s birthday, and in two weeks, we’ll be celebrating Lyla’s 3rd birthday! Lots of celebrating in our household! I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying your Summer!
Today, I wanted to hop on here and share a recap of my second trimester with baby #2! For starters, in case you missed it, we are having another GIRL! Lyla gets her baby sister, and we are over the moon about bringing another little girl into the family. It’s funny, I used to tell myself I wanted one boy and one girl. However, after having Lyla, I fell in love with being a girl mom, and so I’m excited for all the girly things to come!
Hey friends!
Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted here! I’ve just been really busy working, enjoying toddlerhood with Lyla (minus the tantrums 😜), and, you know, growing a baby!!! Keeping this a secret has been SO hard! So many times, I almost slipped up and shared it on social media.
Hello friends!
Happy Halloween! Today, I’m sharing a little recap of my third trimester, my labor story with Josie, and how postpartum has been going.
The third trimester was probably the toughest and longest trimester of them all. I felt lots more movement, and seeing as my placenta was posterior this time around, some of Josie’s kicks were quite painful! I continued to have lower left back pain, which I just recently found out was due to kidney stones! I had gone to the ER back in August due to the pain because it had become unbearable, and I had thrown up. Labor and Delivery thought it was a UTI, but when my test results came back, all it showed was that I had tested positive for Group B Strep (very common in pregnancy).
